I really enjoyed this one, a tidy looking new stadium and a great atmosphere. I had a fantastic view from the top of the East stand where most of the singing started. There is a free bus shuttle service on your match ticket from the station to the ground or if you choose its a 40 minute walk

Some great stuff played by Hartlepool and a great atmosphere played in a constant downpour in this one sided game. I was sat in the Camerons Brewery stand, no seat backs, just the seat bases fixed into the concrete but comfy and a real friendly feel in the stand. Victoria Park is easy to find, turn right as you come out of the station and look for the 4 huge pylons.

06.09.08 Exeter v Acc Stanley Final score 2-1
A really good game with some unbelievable misses from the Grecians who deserved the points. I was on the Cliff Bastin terrace where the atmosphere was lively for 90 minutes. St James`s Park is easy to find, its only a 10 minute walk from the Coach station.

13.09.08 Darlington v Port Vale Score 2-1
Stayed in Hartlepool overnight then made the half hour trip to Darlington to see the Quakers at their new stadium. Its about 20 minutes on foot from the station but virtually one straight road (Neasham Road). Despite the ground being a quarter full, the atmosphere was pretty good with both sets of fans led by their drummer. Went in the Sports bar under the stadium before the game where all pints were £1.50...result.
