Welcome to www.Arsenalandtheother91.co.uk
On this site, you`ll be able to follow my journey around the 92 English football league grounds. Its something that I`ve wanted to do but work, married life and other commitments never gave me the time, the money or the `nag free ` environment to achieve it. Now with a totally different life and living in New Malden, I set myself 3 season deadline to visit the 92 to watch a game and share with you on this site. We are soon to begin my third and hopefully final season

As you can tell by the title I`m a lifelong Gooner and as any football fan will tell you, once you`ve got your team `its in your blood`. From the very first time my dad and grandad took me as a 7 year old in 1977-78, to the East Stand at Highbury to watch us hammer Bristol City 4-1, that was it, I was hooked. Most of the other kids at my school  were all QPR or Liverpool fans, I was the only Gooner and that made it all the better, plenty of playground rivalry, despite the stick I got when we lost the `78 Cup final to Ipswich in my first season as a supporter. At least it meant I could be Malcolm MacDonald or Liam Brady when we played `3 and in` as most of my mates wanted to be Stan Bowles, David Fairclough or Kenny Dalglish.
Thirty years later, with countless memories at Highbury on the North Bank with plenty of away days, I`m going to bite my lip, take off my red tinted glasses and go and watch a game at the other 91, which I`ll share with you on this site and tell you where I`m going next.
Where have I been already?
Click on the `Grounds` links on the navigation menu or the quick guide link at the foot of this page to see where I have been month to month. There are also pics from my seat at the games I go and see when you click the main picture.  I will update this regularly as I visit the grounds

Where am I going next?
Good question. Please click on the `Grounds` links to see what grounds I plan to visit for the coming month. I have seen 58 grounds and some great games up to the end of my second season and now I need to visit the other 34 this season. I`ve got a rough idea where I`m going to visit, I`ll fit it in with work and see what happens but I`ve set myself a deadline of the end of this 08-09 season to complete the current 92.
I hope you enjoy the journey
