In chronological order, my journey around the 92 football league grounds in England and Wales and beyond into the Conference

Welcome to arsenalandtheother91.co.uk. ,the second version. This was my journey to try and watch a game at all 92 current league grounds in 3 seasons. I eventually completed it in four and a half, 88 of which I did in 3 seasons, taking my time for the last few after missing my regular visits to the Emirates and previously Highbury.

It started with a few away days with Arsenal during the 05-06 season but I didn`t start properly until the beginning of the 06-07 season. There was no plan, no routes or special areas to hit first, I just looked at the fixture list week to week and thought ` Yeah i`ll go there this week`. There were a couple of times where I stayed overnight somewhere to do a couple of games and some of the premiership games needed some organising but most of it was spur of the moment. Of course it got harder as I started to run out of grounds.

On this site i`ve put all my photos of the grounds, all of which I took myself, in the order in which I visited them. Click on any of the images to bring up more from that club and bigger versions. For those of you who remember the first version, I had a bit of narrative on the games but i`ve left that out on this one as no-one really read it anyway. There is also directions to the ground at the bottom of each club`s page courtesy of the Football Ground Guide which helped me complete my journey.

If you love your football, then i can`t recommend doing the 92 highly enough. You notice so much more about the ground, the area, the fans etc if you don`t support either team. That doesn`t mean you won`t end up in some run down rust bucket in the middle of nowhere, watching a goalless bore draw in a force 9 gale, but you will see some fantastic stadiums and hopefully, like me, meet some amazing characters and fans along the way. So, have a look around my site and I hope it will inspire you to do something similar.
